Sally Mink, a native to Tennessee, and Nathan Flinck, originally from Minnesota, began their relationship in a unique way. Both working at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, at the time, the two formed a friendship at an annual conference in Lansing, Michigan. Coming from two different parts of the country, Sally and Nate were intrigued by cultural differences and accents!

A year later, a spark of interest between the two led to them dating long distance for eight months before Nate moved to Franklin to be with Sally on July 4th, 2016. A year and a half later, Nate asked Sally to marry him in Rockland, Maine on their family vacation.

Sally and Nate said their vows on the 18th of March, on a beautiful evening in John’s Island, South Carolina. The couple chose South Carolina because they wanted to have a small destination wedding that showcased a romantic charm. The beautiful live oak trees covered in moss was the perfect look.

The couple held their ceremony and reception at Wingate Plantation, including a signature strawberry basil margarita, and low country cuisine in honor of their destination, provided by Thurston Southern Catering. Their neutral, yet elegant florals were the showstopper of the evening with beautiful arrangements made with hydrangea, Tiffany roses, dusty miller and palmetto prawns, all designed by the bride’s brother, Parker Mink.

The guest danced the night away to fantastic music provided by NICE Entertainment. Sally and Nate finished their last dance and made their final debut before taking off in a vintage Rolls Royce.

Photography was provided by Cori Lee Photography and event planning by The Simply Elegant Group. Sally’s dress was designed by Watters and purchased at Fabulous Frocks in Franklin and Nathan’s suite was Jos. A Bank.
